This Shielded Outdoor Water-Blocking Direct Burial CAT5E Cable is specially designed for installations where the cable will be buried underground in conduit. Its 8 conductors (4-Pairs) consist of solid bare copper, complemented by high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Jacket. Featuring aluminum foil shielding, this cable effectively eliminates and protects against electrical interference.

For enhanced moisture protection, the cable incorporates a water block tape that repels water, preventing it from entering the cable and affecting the conductors. Additionally, a tinned copper drain wire grounds the electricity after termination, a crucial component to prevent signal loss, cross-talk, and other performance issues. Our Shielded Category 5E Water Block Layer Direct Burial Outdoor Cable is crafted for residential outdoor direct burial LAN applications, making it the perfect solution for installations requiring burial underground in conduit. The cable is also tested for speeds of up to 350MHz.
